A boring work related post. please feel free not to read as I am typing this for theraputic reasons.

This woman didn’t want to wait for her corporate return to be done because she was told she had to have her personal one done or she wouldn’t get her stimulus payment. She didn’t think to call us to ask, as we were doing the corporate return….
So she did it herself.
OMFG.
I’m going crazy.
It has to be amended.
I’m having a hard time making the software screw these things up- because you see, I have to put the return in the way she did it BEFORE I can fix it.
Its a bloody mess.
The software is screaming at me- WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS! YOU ARE DOING THIS WRONG!
And I feel like screaming back “I KNOW” but I don’t because there are clients in the office…

It so pisses me off when someone is having a hard time and someone says “it will get better…its not forever…other people have lived through it…(insert other phrases here)” like the person HAVING the hard time has no reason to be upset/sad/anxious/grieving/worried/angry.
Cause guess what?
SOMETIMES it doesn’t get better.
Sometimes it gets worse.
And sometimes the worst happens.
And then you just have to deal and it sucks.
Sometimes the hardest part of being a friend is letting a person feel all they have to feel and stick around.
In the end all you can really say is “I’m here for you” and then BE there and hope that its enough…

Bachelor party

I have so much to talk about. I have some incriminating photos (not of Brian) from the bachelor party Friday night for Brian’s friend R. Poor Brian was the sober one for the evening. He did not enjoy himself. The groom was jumping into the fire and other stupid things.
No real sheep were harmed during this party.

So funny- without further ado…

R, the groom!

M- Brians BFF- note how he has the sheep by the ears.

R, J and Sheepy, enjoying a little threesome loving.

Woke Emma up this morning with kisses.
“Mom, why do you have to kiss me so much?”she asked me, her arms wrapped around my neck, our cheeks pressed together.
“I guess just cause I love you so much”
“I love you too mom.”

And later, when I drop her off at daycare… She goes to the window like every morning and waves and blows me kisses. That kind of thing I can live off of.

I remember how things felt 2 years ago when she was the only thing in my life I was certain of. I didn’t know where we were going, but I knew we’d be okay, she and I. I’d put on Keith Urban’s song “Better Life” and we’d dance around crazy.

I like how life feels right now.

Pissed

I am so so pissed
We got a new server at work… I couldn't log on until I got my new work computer.  But according to the computer geek who set these things up I could log onto the server remotely.  It never worked. (it never worked because I was logging on from the computer that didn't work with the network but I didn't know that at the time)
We all were supposed to have the same password.  I couldn't log on. The computer geek (who has a crush on me) sent back "I've changed the password to arielblows"
I thought he was joking. I never tried it.
Until today, because NOTHING was workin
the asshole actually did it.
I'm gonna kill him.
I can't change it- the administrator has to.  If you think for one minute I'm going to my mother in law and telling her to change it?
No way in hell.
I may also have a chat with his boss. Which I would HATE to have to do.

Note to self….

Do not read Dooce while drinking chocolate milk.  At least not while she's talking about Coco eating poop.
Not a good idea. It will in fact make you feel sick.
Just thought you should know,
Love,
ME

busy working

but here’s a quick rundown-
It was supposed to be 85 where we were camping- It was well over 90 Sat and Sun. HOT.
Brian’s parents bought Emma a little pool which the rangers allowed us to fill up with irrigation water. (straight out of the Snake River. Very silty.)
We told her to try not to drink the water.
She managed to slip under the water at some point and came out in hysterics.
“I DRANK THE WATER AND NOW I’M GOING TO DIE!”
We assured her that she wasn’t going to die. While laughing our heads off. It was that funny.
The pool was a life saver, cause it was HOT. We all stuck our feet in to cool off at one time or another. Emma didn’t take a nap all weekend because it was to hot to live.
We had a good time, but I started packing camp up Sunday Morning at 8:30 because it was already frying hot. We where home by 11.
I love AC.
And I managed to burn my lips. Nice.

new tires, here I come

So my new tires happen tomorrow morning… at the lovely price of 187.46 for 2 and then the alignment is 74.95. Ouch.
I need both- and our next camping trip which coincidentally happens tomorrow also requires a freeway drive, so it has to be done. I’m hoping they will give me 50% off the alignment, since its a fairly standard coupon they do…
But OUCH!
I’ve spent so much on car crap!
And yes! I did in fact hang up ALL the curtains, but not all the pictures.
I live in an apartment… So there is a small window of time I feel comfortable banging on walls, you know?
