I'm offering 10 points if anyone can find a copy ANYWHERE of
The Stone Skippers by Ian Burgham.
Its entirely possible I can go to a used book store here and possibly find one, but I haven't looked yet.
You'd think that a book published in 2007 would not already be out of print. (Or so amazon claims!)
I found a ring online that Brian and I fell in love with- we'll be using it or something like it (we could just have it engraved on any old band, really) as our wedding bands
Its a plain band with the inscription "And you, a windrose, a compass, my direction, my description of the world." the quote from… Ian Burgham." So now I must find ANYTHING by this author.
It's perfect for us because we are both obsessed with sailing around the world- something I've always wanted to do and I fell in love with Brian (or started to anyway) the day he said "Hey do you wanna sail around the world with me?"
Le sigh.
There is more to it than that simple question of course… And yes. We really are that goofy and romantic together.

There aren’t many left. It is almost sold out. But you vcan get a copy from Tightrope Books in Toronto. They are my Canadian publisher. Hope you find it.
