Please!

Copy this sentence into your blog if you’re in a heterosexual marriage, and you don’t want it “protected” by people who think that GLBT marriage hurts it somehow.

Hear hear! BTW, it’s mostly far flung friends (as in old buddies found on Facebook) and my staunch Mormon family that has these views. I know I cannot change them and it makes me sad. Both for them, and for those they “persecute” in the name of God.

My local friends and family are much more….open, intelligent, I’m not even sure what the right word is here… I just think the whole argument is absurd. Why would anyone want to tear down what others have built with love? And why would those same people think that those they try to tear down “chose” that lifestyle? Who would knowingly choose to live in such a way that they knew others would try to harm them?

    Sorry….stepping off my soapbox…
