The woman 4 people in front of me was having trouble with her debit card. She looked Hispanic, and spoke Spanish. She finally got it to work- paid and left.
Woman directly in front of me turns, says to me “I hate these illegal Mexicans- I hate all Mexicans, don’t you?”
I gave her the coldest stare I’ve ever given anyone and said “My sister is half Hispanic, thank you. No. I don’t hate them. I don’t hate anyone. Except racist ignorant people, that is.”
She left her cart and walked out. What a bitch. And now I’m fuming.

At least she made her life inconvenient through her embarrassment though! You know the *ONLY* reason she walked off was she’s ashamed she was called out.
If she had balls, and stood up for her personal belief system (No matter how sick, and gross it is) she would have held her ground, rather than running away like a little pussy!
Again, not saying I agree with her opinion AT ALL, but really if you’re going to have a piss poor opinion like that, and belittle someone in public (Or private even!), AT LEAST have the balls to hold your ground when confronted on it. “Stand your ground, even if your voice shakes” (I have that opinion with all opinions though
