I asked Jacqueline to be my maid of honor (not that I have any favorites amongst any of my bridal party, I adore them all)and she said yes and now she’s moving.
Something to do with the fact that her husband accepted a head pro job at some fancy schmancy top 100 golf course and he’s going to be making lots more money and following his dreams or some other such nonsense. Why would anyone want that?
She’s still my maid of honor of course but this whole FRIENDS MOVING ACROSS THE FUCKING COUNTRY trend (pokes Kate(Other maid of honor!)) has GOT TO STOP.
I mean, her husband has been looking for a long time and I’m happy for them, it’s just Jacqueline and I have sat across from each other for 3 years. I’ve seen her 5 out of 7 days for every week for 3 years. We text. We email. WE ARE CLOSE PEOPLE.

I had a roommate once who had three (hideous) bridesmaids dresses hanging in her closet but when it came time for her to get married, two of her friends were married and had moved far away and couldn’t attend and the third couldn’t be found (a very freaky story in which Mormons try to pray the demons out of this poor girl instead of getting her help for mental illness). So cheer up. It could be worse since your friends still plan on being there.
