For some reason I think of California as being ultra-liberal. Maybe it’s because of the movie industry, I don’t know. But I’m always surprised when California voters/courts do something as ignorant as this.

I was really surprised about how this turned out as well – living in the bay area for 9 years, I never would have guessed that the voters would have let something like this happen. It’s a shame…
