loosing my faith, one cheese sandwich at a time

Every time someone says they see Jesus or Mary on a piece of wood, or a sandwich, or a frying pan I just have to shake my head.  Cause dude, I have never seen Jesus.  All that sandwich  looks like to me is a dude with a beard. (In which case I’ve seen Jesus walking down the street numerous times this week.  Also panhandling on the street corner yesterday morning.)

Dude with beard does not equel Jesus. Lady wearing robe not Mary.  I’m all for faith… I just don’t think God would mess with people like that.

Again, faith is a wonderful thing.  But if you believe in an all knowing, all powerful God, and you believe He designed you, don’t you think it’s a bit insulting to said God to NOT USE THE BRAIN HE GAVE YOU?

True story

I just got carded buying peanuts.

(Okay, its from the smoke shop in the same complex as my work and I’m feeling shitty (no! not pregnant!) and peanuts sounded good and to be fair you have to be 18 to be in there and I’m pretty sure I look 18 and I bought a bottled water earlier and DIDN’T get carded for the water so WTF?)

Thoughts on marriage

Its pretty neat.  I get to call him husband now.  The cake tasted good.

Um?  It’s pretty much the same as it was?  Which is to say:  Good.  Which is what you want to say, right?

Nothing has changed but everything has changed but nothing has changed.

And when you’ve married your best friend I guess that’s how it works.

We are still fixing the sprinklers in the back yard and last night we installed a new thermostat!  We are so Mr. and Mrs. Fix it!  I have pictures to share… I miss WRITING!  So maybe this weekend…
